Pastor Ken Contemplations

It is the day after Easter, and what a wonderful day it was as we worshiped and celebrated the resurrection of Jesus the Christ. As we enter the Easter season may we take time to meditative on that glorious mystery. Taking time be open to the Holy Spirit as it calls us into what is next for Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church.

There have been so many changes over the past year, but think what the disciples who followed Jesus had been through in the last three years of Jesus life. Expectations shattered and then an empty tomb. It took a while for them to comprehend what Christ was calling then to do. We too, need to take time pray and talk with each other seeing where we are being called to do. We are like the seeds in our garden.

Remember every seed is dead and after it is planted has a resurrection moment as it sprouts and moves towards the sun. We need to allow our prayers to help us sprout and turn moving and imitating the Son.

May we all have a blessed Easter and may the fruit that comes in answering the call of the Holy Spirit make a difference in this world we life.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Ken
